This may be true, but coming up with the names of characters is not just a fun activity ... and yes, it's plenty fun ... but a necessary part of giving personality to those who will people your story. I like to research first and last names that would've been popular in the era and area into which I'm dropping my characters.
One Lump or Two's roster has just been set in digital stone, with a cast of 13 ... fitting for a mystery, eh? ;) All 13 have now been named as well, and are ready to start interacting come Nov 1 when National Novel Writing Month commences :D
